Recipe Ingredients

  • Potato – 2 nos.
  • Peas – 50 grams
  • Onion – 1 no. (chopped)
  • Chilli powder – ¼ tbsp
  • Gram masala – ¼ tbsp
  • Puffed rice
  • Mint chutney
  • Sweet chutney
  • Omapodi / sev mixture

    Cooking Time: 20minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Take a pressure cooker add potatoes (peel out the skin), peas and salt to taste, cook for 10-15 minutes.
  • Now take out the cooked potatoes & peas in a bowl smash it into a fine paste, to this add chilli powder, gram masala, onion & salt to taste mix it well. Keep a side.
  • Making Mint chutney (in a mixer jar add mint leaf – 1 cup, green chilli – 4 nos., jeera – 1 tbsp & salt to taste and grind it into a fine paste).
  • Making Sweet chutney (soak tamarind – lime size, soak dates(de-seeds) – 12 nos. Jaggery – ½ cup. Grind the soaked dates into a fine paste , squeeze the tamarind juice and cook adding grinded dates, jaggery for 2-3 minutes.)
  • Take a plate place the pani puri’s puri & make a hole in the centre and stuff the mixed potato – 1 tbsp for all the puri’s in the same way, add mint chutney, sweet chutney (as required) and top of this sprinkle omapodi mixture and puffed rice.
    Mouth-watering, yummy...! Tasty, spicy Aloo Puri Tikki is ready to eat. Serve immediately.
