Recipe Brief Description : Andhra style dish is very spicy and extremely popular all over South India, just called Andhra Chilli Chicken.
Boneless chicken – 100 grams (cut into cubes)
Onion – 1 no. (chopped into slice)
Corn flour – 2 tbsp
Kasturi Methi – 1 tbsp
Mint leaf – ¼ cup
Coriander leaf – ¼ cup
Green chilli – 2-3 nos.
Curds / Yogurt – 2-3 tbsp
Garlic & Ginger paste – 1 tbsp.
Garam masala – ¼ tbsp
Dhaniya powder / Coriander powder – ½ tbsp
Turmeric powder – ¼ tbsp.
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Pepper powder – ¼ tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil – 3-4 tbsp
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Clean and cut the chicken into cubes.
For grinding add mint leaf, coriander leaf and chilli and grind it into a fine paste.
Heat a pan add oil, onion and fry well till light brown add garlic, ginger paste, dhaniya powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, red chilli powder, curds and grinded paste and fry well.
Now to the frying content add kasturi methi and chicken and salt to taste and add enough of water to cook the chicken.
Once the chicken is cooked add the corn flour mixed with water and add to the chicken and stir it well, it comes into thick gravy.
Finally, garnish with pepper powder and chilli.
Spicy Andhra Chilli Chicken is ready to eat. Serve hot.
