Recipe Brief Description : Badam halwa is a very popular recipe. This dessert made with almonds and flavored with saffron.
Almonds – 1 cup
Sugar – 2 cup
Water – 3 cup
Ghee – 2 cup
Saffron – 1 pinch
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Soak almonds in a bowl with boiling water and remove peal of almonds and make fine paste by grinding them in a grinder.
Boil sugar with one cup of water in a pan, till it turns into syrup. Now add almonds paste to the boiling syrup and mix it well.
Dilute saffron in a bowl with little water and add to the syrup.
Instantly mix one cup ghee. If required add more ghee and keep stirring till the ghee separate from the mixture.
Now remove it from the flame and badam halwa is ready to serve.
