Badam Halwa

Recipe Brief Description : Badam halwa is a very popular recipe. This dessert made with almonds and flavored with saffron.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Almonds – 1 cup
  • Sugar – 2 cup
  • Water – 3 cup
  • Ghee – 2 cup
  • Saffron – 1 pinch

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Soak almonds in a bowl with boiling water and remove peal of almonds and make fine paste by grinding them in a grinder.
  • Boil sugar with one cup of water in a pan, till it turns into syrup. Now add almonds paste to the boiling syrup and mix it well.
  • Dilute saffron in a bowl with little water and add to the syrup.
  • Instantly mix one cup ghee. If required add more ghee and keep stirring till the ghee separate from the mixture.
  • Now remove it from the flame and badam halwa is ready to serve.
