Maida - 4 cup
Curd - 1/2 cup
Butter - 2/3 cup
Baking soda - 1/2 tbsp
Sugar - 3 cup
Oil for deep fry
Pista - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Almonds - 2 tbsp (chopped)
Cooking Time: 45 minutes
In a bowl add flour, baking soda, curd, butter and mix well.
Add enough warm water to make a dough of rolling consistency, as we prepare for paratha and keep aside covered for 30 minutes.
Divide it in 12 equal lemon size ball and make it round with your palms and press in the middle.
Heat oil in a pan on low flame, add this flour balls and fry till they turn golden, keep aside.
In a separate pan heat 1 1/2 cup of water, add sugar and mix well and make thick sugar syrup. Turn off the gas and put the Balushahis in it.
After soaking for 3-4 minutes take them out and place them in plate. Garnish with pista and almond.
