Capsicum Bajji

Recipe Brief Description : Capsicum bajji made with capsicum, besan flour and deep-fried, dipped in a seasoned batter.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Capsicum – 4 number (chopped)
  • Besan flour – 1 cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
  • Cooking soda – 1 pinch
  • Oil for deep fry
  • Water as required
  • Onion - 1 number (finely chopped)
  • Carrot - 1 number (grated)
  • Coriander - 1/2 bunch (chopped)
  • Garam masala - 1/2 tbsp

    Cooking Time: 15 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Mix in besan, red chili powder, salt, soda and add water to make batter as required.
  • Deep each capsicum into the besan batter.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and deep fry all the chilies which has dipped in batter and fry till golden brown.
  • Now, take out from the oil and cut into four pieces and garnish with onion, carrot, coriander leaves, garam masala and sprinkle till salt. Serve hot
