Recipe Brief Description : Stuffed parathas fried on the griddle. Main ingredients wheat flour, carrot.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 1 cup
  • Ajwain - 1/2 tbsp
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
    For Filling
  • Carrot - 2 cup (grated)
  • Pepper powder to taste
  • Ajwain - 1/2 tbsp
  • Oil - 1 tbsp
  • Cumin seeds powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • For the parathas, knead the dough with spice and mix the oil/ghee. Add little water to knead into dough. Divide the dough into six portions. Roll out each portion into a chapathi.
  • For the filling, heat the oil and add the carrots. Mix in the spices and stir fry 2-3mins. Remove from fire and keep aside.
  • Place a portion of the filling on one chapathi and cover with another chapathi . Prepare the parathas in this way.
  • Fry parathas on a tava on low heat adding ghee around parathas from time to time. Serve hot with curry which you like.
