Recipe Brief Description : Channa Cabbage is simply cooked with onion and cabbage. The unique and healthy preparation of this recipe is based on the spices.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Cabbage – 250 grams (chopped)
  • Channa – 1 cup (boiled)
  • Coconut powder – 1 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves – 1 bunch (chopped)
  • Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
  • Green chillies - 5-6 numbers
  • Oil - 2 tbsp
  • Onion – 1 cup (chopped)

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, chopped onion, green chillies, salt and stir for 1mins.
  • Now, add turmeric powder, ginger- garlic paste, red chilli powder, coconut powder, boiled channa and cabbage.
  • Stir and close it with a lid and cook till the cabbage is tender. If required add water for cooking.
  • Once the cabbage is tender garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
