Recipe Brief Description : Channa Cabbage is simply cooked with onion and cabbage. The unique and healthy preparation of this recipe is based on the spices.
Cabbage – 250 grams (chopped)
Channa – 1 cup (boiled)
Coconut powder – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch (chopped)
Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
Turmeric powder - 1 pinch
Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 tbsp
Green chillies - 5-6 numbers
Oil - 2 tbsp
Onion – 1 cup (chopped)
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, chopped onion, green chillies, salt and stir for 1mins.
Now, add turmeric powder, ginger- garlic paste, red chilli powder, coconut powder, boiled channa and cabbage.
Stir and close it with a lid and cook till the cabbage is tender. If required add water for cooking.
Once the cabbage is tender garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
