Recipe Brief Description : Chidwa it's a crunchy poha with peanuts. This wholesome snack delicately flavored Maharashtrian recipe.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Beaten rice – 2 cup
  • Onion – 1 number (chopped)
  • Green chilies – 2 numbers (chopped)
  • Curry leaves – 7-8 number
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Peanuts – 2 tbsp
  • Oil – 2 tbps
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbps
  • Red chilies – 2 numbers
  • Turmeric powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Chat masla powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Mango powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Salt and red chili powder to taste

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Soak poha in water for 1 minute. strain and keep aside.
  • In a pan heat 1 tbsp oil and add peanuts and roast for 2 minutes. Stir in between.
  • Add chat masala. mango powder and salt. Keep roasted peanuts masala aside.
  • In another pan heat 1 tbsp oil, add chopped onion, green chilies and rest of the ingredients, cook for 2 minutes. stir it.
  • Garnish with green coriander and sprinkle lemon juice. Serve hot.
