Recipe Ingredients

  • Drumstick - 5 number
  • Potato - 2 number
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Red chili - 2 number
  • Garlic - 5 pods
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Mustard oil - 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Peel off the outer layer of drumstick and cut it into 2 inch pieces.
  • Make round slices of potato.
  • Wash the pieces of potato and drumstick properly.
  • Make a fine paste of mustard seed, red chili and garlic cloves.
  • Heat oil in a pan and add the pieces of potato and drumstick, add paste, turmeric powder, salt to taste and half cup of water.
  • Cover it with a lid and allow to cook for 5-8 minutes on a lower flame.
  • Now, switch off the flame after it is done and keep it aside.
  • Heat mustard oil in a small add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Methi seeds and allow to spluttering.
  • Then add the boiled drumstick, potato and stir well, fry it till it becomes golden brown. Serve hot.
