Drumstick - 5 number
Potato - 2 number
Mustard seeds - 1 tbsp
Red chili - 2 number
Garlic - 5 pods
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Mustard oil - 3 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Peel off the outer layer of drumstick and cut it into 2 inch pieces.
Make round slices of potato.
Wash the pieces of potato and drumstick properly.
Make a fine paste of mustard seed, red chili and garlic cloves.
Heat oil in a pan and add the pieces of potato and drumstick, add paste, turmeric powder, salt to taste and half cup of water.
Cover it with a lid and allow to cook for 5-8 minutes on a lower flame.
Now, switch off the flame after it is done and keep it aside.
Heat mustard oil in a small add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, Methi seeds and allow to spluttering.
Then add the boiled drumstick, potato and stir well, fry it till it becomes golden brown. Serve hot.
