Recipe Brief Description: A very good and tempting starter for parties or kitty parties and a healthy snack for kids. Corn Rolls are crispy, golden brown bread rolls stuffed with corn mixture.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Corn - 1 cup (par boiled and crushed)
  • Corn - 1/2 cup (par boiled)
  • Potato - 4 number (boiled)
  • Corn flour - 2 tbsp
  • Bread slices - 3-4 number
  • Garlic - 5-6 pods
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Green chili - 3-4 number
  • Amchur powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tbsp
  • Black salt - 1/2 tbsp
  • Black pepper powder - 1/2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder - 1/4 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup (chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil for deep fry

    Preparation Method:
  • In a large mixing bowl, mash the boiled potatoes, crushed corn and whole corn kernels.
  • Crush garlic, ginger and chilies in a mixer and add to it.
  • Add finely chopped coriander and the seasonings. salt, black salt, sugar, black pepper powder, red chili powder, amchur powder and mix well.
  • Add the corn flour and bread slices or bread crumbs and combine the same well.
  • Make small balls out of it and press the tooth pick into it like a lollipop.
  • Heat oil in a vessel and deep fry them on high heat till golden brown. Serve hot with tomato ketchup or coriander mint chutney.
