Recipe Name: Kadalekai / Groundnuts Chutney
Recipe Main Ingredient: Peanuts / groundnuts / kadalekai, Dry red chilli.
Recipe Brief Description : Kadalekai chutney is one of the varieties in chutney. Kadalekai / Groundnuts / Peanuts are good sources of many essential Vitamins and Minerals.
Peanuts / Groundnuts / Kadalekai – 1 cup
Coconut – ¼ cup (grated)
Dry red chilli – 4-5 nos.
Tamarind a pinch
Garlic – 2-3 pieces
Salt to taste
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Heat a pan add peanuts / groundnuts / kadalekai and fry till golden brown. Keep a side for cooling, once it is cool peal out the groundnuts.
Take mixer grinder add the coconut, dry red chilli, tamarind, garlic, salt to taste and pealed out groundnuts / kadalekai add enough of water to grind it. (coarse grind / like rava)
Take a bowl add the grinded mix. (if required can season it.)
Very tasty kadalekai chutney is ready to eat. Serve with chapatti, dosa, idly or any of your choice.
