Bitter gourd – 2 numbers
Lemon juice – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Turmeric – 1/2 tbsp
Red chilli powder – 1 tbsp
Oil for deep fry
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Cut karelas into thin slices and place in a plate. Add salt, turmeric powder and mix well. Keep aside for 10mins.
Wash them thoroughly and drain on absorbent paper or on cloth.
Transfer into a plate and add red chilli powder, tamarind paste and mix well.
Heat an oil for deep fry as sufficient required. Deep fry the karela slice till crisp.
Transfer on a serving plate, add salt, lemon juice and mix well. Serve hot.
