Recipe Ingredients

  • Green gram – 100 grams
  • Rice – 250 grams
  • Chilly – 250 grams
  • Grated dry coconut – 1 cup
  • Cashews
  • Pepper corn - 1 spoon smashed.
  • Ginger smashed.
  • Turmeric Powder.
  • Salt for taste.
  • Coriander Leaves - 1 small cup.
  • Curry Leaves.
  • Jeera powder or jeera.
  • Ghee – 50 grams

    Cooking Time: 15 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Fry green gram. Add rice. Mix it well.
  • Add water - 500 ml.
  • Place the contents in pressure cooker until it is cooked.
  • For Seasoning - Fry oil in pan, add mustard seeds, chilli slices, curry leaves, turmeric powder, ginger smashed, cashews.
  • Add cooked rice to pan and mix well.
  • Add salt for taste.Garnish the contents with little ghee, pepper corn and coriander leaves.
