Recipe Brief Description : This recipe of Khova Puri is very famous in Andhra for all functions and party’s. Very tasty mouth watering sweet come and learn with very less ingredients and easy to cook.
Maida flour – 100 grams
Khova – 50 grams
Sugar – 100 grams
Oil for deep fry
Dry fruits ( badam, cashewnuts, raisin ) handful
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Take a bowl add sugar and add enough of water and boil it till it comes thick syrup. Keep a side.
Take another bowl add maida flour, salt a pinch and mix with water (like chapatti batter). Soak it for an hour.
Now heat the oil in a deep kadai. Take the maida batter and make very small balls (like lemon size) and roll it and fill in the khova and dry fruits into the rolled batter and close the edges. (to the edges closed can make a design)
And deep fry the filled puri’s and deep into the sugar syrup. Take out immediately to a plate and garnish with cardamom powder.
A traditional Khova Puri is ready to eat.
