Recipe Brief Description : Kosambari is a Salad popular and done in Karnataka. It’s done on most of the auspicious and festival occasions like Sri Ramanavami, Friday poojas, etc and distributed among ladies.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Moong dal / Split green gram dal – 100 grams
  • Cucumber – 1no. (chopped)
  • Chilli – 2-3 nos. (long chopped)
  • Coriander leaf – ¼ cup (chopped)
  • Coconut – ¼ cup (grated)
  • A pinch of ingu.

    Cooking Time: 10 minutes

    Preparation Method:

  • Wash the moong dal and soak it for 2-3 hours.
  • In a bowl add the moong dal, cucumber, coriander leaf, coconut and mix it well.
  • Now season with mustard, curry leaf, chilli & a pinch of ingu using oil.
    It’s very easy to prepare, very delicious and good for health.
