Recipe Main Ingredient: Moong dal/ Split green gram dal
Recipe Brief Description : Kosambari is a Salad popular and done in Karnataka. It’s done on most of the auspicious and festival occasions like Sri Ramanavami, Friday poojas, etc and distributed among ladies.
Moong dal / Split green gram dal – 100 grams
Cucumber – 1no. (chopped)
Chilli – 2-3 nos. (long chopped)
Coriander leaf – ¼ cup (chopped)
Coconut – ¼ cup (grated)
A pinch of ingu.
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Wash the moong dal and soak it for 2-3 hours.
In a bowl add the moong dal, cucumber, coriander leaf, coconut and mix it well.
Now season with mustard, curry leaf, chilli & a pinch of ingu using oil.
It’s very easy to prepare, very delicious and good for health.
