Recipe Brief Description : Raw mango chutney cooked with jaggery.
Raw mango – 1 numbers (cut into cubes)
Turmeric powder - 1/2 tbsp
Green chilies – 2 numbers
Jaggery – 1/2 cup (grated)
Rice four – 1 tbsp
Oil – 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Cut mango, without peeling, into small pieces. Heat 2 cup water in a non stick pan and add mango pieces, turmeric powder and green chillies and mix well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add jaggery and mix well. Cover again and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add salt, rice flour with ¼ cup water.
Heat oil in a small non stick pan and add mustard seeds. When the seeds splutter add the tempering to the mango pachidi.
Cover and cook for 1-2mins. Cool and serve at room temperature.
