 Mixed Veg-Sagu

Recipe Brief Description : Sagu is a mixed vegetable dish serve with dosa, chapatti and roti. This is one of my own dishes; here I have added mushroom those who don’t eat mushroom just add with vegetables, tastes really good.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Potato – 1 no. (cut into cubes)
  • Beans – 7-8 nos. (cut into 1 inch)
  • Carrot – 1 no. (cut into cubes)
  • Capsicum – 1 no. (cut into cubes)
  • Cauliflower – 50 grams.
  • Mushroom – 75 grams
  • Onion – 1 no. (cut into cubes)
  • Chilli – 2-3 nos.
  • Jeera – ½ tbsp
  • Cloves - 3-4 pieces
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch piece
  • Turmeric – 1 tbsp
  • Coconut – ¼ cup (grated)
  • Coriander leaf
  • Salt to taste

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Take a hot water and soak the mushroom and cauliflower with salt. Keep a side.
  • For grinding add jeera, cloves, cinnamon, chilli, coconut, turmeric, coriander leaf and grind find into a fine paste.
  • Now take a pan / kadai add oil or butter – 4 tbsp, with all the chopped vegetables (potato, beans, carrot, capsicum, cauliflower and mushroom) one by one and fry them well with salt to taste. Then add the grinded masala and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with coriander leaf.
    Delicious Mixed Veg Sagu is ready to eat.
