Recipe Ingredients

  • Mutton – 500 grams.
  • Chilli – 5-6.
  • Pepper corns – 2 tbsp.
  • Ginger – 1 inch.
  • Garlic – 5-6 cloves.
  • Turmeric – 1 tbsp.
  • Dhania powder - 2 tbsp.
  • Red Chilli powder - 1 tbsp.
  • Corriander Leaves – 1/2 cup.
  • Pudina/mint Leaves – 1/2 cup.
  • Cloves - 3-4 pieces
  • Cinnamon - 1 inch pieces
  • Onion – 1no. (chopped)
  • Tomato - 1no.
  • Coconut - 1/4 cup (grated)

    Cooking Time: 25 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Clean the mutton pieces well and drain all the water thoroughly.
  • Add all the ingredients for grinding (chilli, ginger, garlic, pepper corn, red chilli powder, corriander leaves, pudina leaves, cloves, cinnamon, tomato, dhania powder, grated coconut, turmeric powder)
  • Heat oil in a pressure cooker and fry the chopped onion, with mutton.
  • Add the grinded masala to the mutton, salt to taste and add enough of water.
  • Cook it for 10-15 minutes.
  • After it is cooked add water if required and boil it.
  • Yummy delicious mutton chops is ready to eat.
  • Serve hot with rice or chappati.
