Olo Kobi Bhaja

Recipe Ingredients

  • Turnip - 3-4 number (peeped and chopped into lengthy wise)
  • Potato - 2 number (peeped and chopped into lengthy wise)
  • Onion - 3 number
  • Onion - 2 number (for the paste)
  • Ginger - 1 inch
  • Garlic - 8-10 pods
  • Red chili - 2 number
  • Bay leaf - 1 number
  • Green peas - 1 cup
  • Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (chopped)
  • Salt to taste

    Cooking Time: 30 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • In a grinder add onion, ginger, garlic, red chilies and grind to a fine paste.
  • Heat oil in a pan, add turnip, potato, onion, green peas, bay leaf, onion masala paste, turmeric powder, salt and mix well.
  • Keeping into a low flame and lid it with a cover.
  • Cook, till the vegetables mixed properly with masala paste while stirring in between.
  • Fry the above mixture until the vegetables tenderly cooked and it begins turning light brown over medium flame.
  • Garnished with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot or cold.
