Recipe Brief Description: Very tasty, spicy and crunchy snack, usually served hot in the evening.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Gram Flour / Besan flour – 1 small cup.
  • Rice Flour – 1/4 cup.
  • Onions – 2 no’s sliced very finely.
  • Baking soda – half tsp.
  • Curry leaves and green chillies grinded – each 5 no’s.
  • Red chilli powder if required.
  • Ginger paste – half tsp.
  • Corriander leaves.
  • Salt for taste.
  • Oil – For deep fry

    Cooking Time: 15 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Take a bowl, add basin flour, rice flour, chopped onions, grinded paste, baking soda,salt,coriander leaves.
  • Add water – 1 cup (as required).
  • Mix the flour and other ingredients into thick paste.
  • Heat oil, when oil is hot put the thick paste one by one evenly.
  • Fry pakoda until it is golden brown.
  • Serve hot with any sauce.
    Spicy and mouth watering pakoda is ready
