Recipe Brief Description : Papaya Milk Gravy recipe: Papaya is a great source of vitamins and nutrition; here I have add papaya not fully ripe or raw papaya its quite medium papaya. Tastes awesome very well goes with chapati, roti.
Medium ripe papaya - 1 cup (chopped into cubes)
Onion - 1 no. (chopped length wise)
Boiled Milk - 1 cup
Chilli powder - 1 tsp
Dhaniya powder / coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
Garam masala - 1/2 tsp
Coriander leaves few
Oil as required.
Mustard - 1 tsp
Jeera - 1/2 tsp
Dry red chilli - 2 nos. (cut into half)
Curry leaves few
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Heat a pan add 2 tbsp of oil, mustard, jeera, dry red chilli and curry leaf fry well.
Then add onion fry till light brown colour; add papaya fry well for few minutes.
Add chilli powder, dhaniya powder, garam masala mix well with adding milk; cook till it comes thick gravy.
Once the gravy is cooked add coriander leaves.
Finally, serve the papaya gravy with roti, chapati.
