Recipe Ingredients

  • Milk – 1 litre
  • Basmati rice or normal rice – 100 grams
  • Dry fruits – 50 grams ( Badam, Cashewnut, Raisin )
  • Saffron / Kesari a few
  • Sugar as required
  • Ghee – 6-7 tbsp
  • Khova – 3-4 tbsp
  • Condensed milk – 100 grams ( if required)
  • Cardamom – 2 nos.

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • In a pressure cooker add ghee – 2 tbsp, rice and fry. Then add milk and cook for 2 whistle. Keep a side for cooling.
  • Take a pan add ghee, dry fruits and fry well till brown colour then add khova fry it till it soften. Then add to the cooked rice and mix well. Add sugar and condensed milk as required and stir it well, cook for 5 minutes.
    Very tasty delicious Phirni is ready to eat. Serve cold.
