Recipe Name: Mint Leaves / Pudina Chutney
Recipe Main Ingredient: Pudina, Chillies
Recipe Brief Description : Very delicious chutney, specially served with DOSA and ILDLY. Otherwise can eat with hot cooked rice along with ghee.
Mint leaves / Pudina – 1 cup.
Green chillies – 5-6.
Split bengal gram/kadle bele – 1 tbsp.
Split black gram – 1 tbsp.
Ginger - 1 inch piece.
Garlic - 4 cloves.
Grated fresh coconut – 1 cup
Tamarind - 1 inch piece.
Corriander leaves - 1/4 cup.(optional)
Water as required.
Salt – 1/2 tbspn
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Fry all the ingredients in a small pan( Split bengal gram,Split black gram,Pudina, Chillies)
Take away all the ingredients and put it in a mixer jar,along with grated coconut, ginger, garlic, tamarind, salt and corriander leaves.
Grind it coarsely by adding sufficient water.
Place it in a bowl and serve it.
Healthy and tasty Pudina Chutney is ready to eat with Dosa or Idly.
