Pudina Chutney

Recipe Brief Description : Very delicious chutney, specially served with DOSA and ILDLY. Otherwise can eat with hot cooked rice along with ghee.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Mint leaves / Pudina – 1 cup.
  • Green chillies – 5-6.
  • Split bengal gram/kadle bele – 1 tbsp.
  • Split black gram – 1 tbsp.
  • Ginger - 1 inch piece.
  • Garlic - 4 cloves.
  • Grated fresh coconut – 1 cup
  • Tamarind - 1 inch piece.
  • Corriander leaves - 1/4 cup.(optional)
  • Water as required.
  • Salt – 1/2 tbspn

    Cooking Time: 5 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Fry all the ingredients in a small pan( Split bengal gram,Split black gram,Pudina, Chillies)
  • Take away all the ingredients and put it in a mixer jar,along with grated coconut, ginger, garlic, tamarind, salt and corriander leaves.
  • Grind it coarsely by adding sufficient water.
  • Place it in a bowl and serve it.
  • Healthy and tasty Pudina Chutney is ready to eat with Dosa or Idly.
