Recipe Brief Description : A radish is the root of a plant; it can be white, red, purple or black, long cylindrical or round in shape. They are eaten raw, juice, cooked, pickled, chutney and many more. It is very healthy; it purifies blood in our body.
Radish – 2 nos. (cut into half inch)
Groundnuts – 3-4 tbsp
Coconut – 3-4 tbsp (grated)
Dry red chilli – 3-4 nos.
Tamarind a half inch.
Cooking Time: 10 minutes
Heat a pan, add the radish and fry till light brown. Keep a side.
In a same pan fry the groundnuts till golden brown, fry the dry red chilli (just warm) and keep a side. Peel out the fried groundnuts.
Take a mixer jar add the radish, coconut, groundnuts, dry red chilli, tamarind and salt to taste grind it into a fine paste. At last add coriander leaf and whip it.
Pour the chutney in a bowl. Can season it with oil, mustard and split urad dal.
Spicy Radish chutney is ready to eat with rice, chapatti, dosa or any of your choice.
