Ragi Roti

Recipe Brief Description : Ragi roti is very healthy food, those who don’t eat ragi ball can eat roti. Easy to cook and tasty too.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Ragi flour – 150 grams
  • Onion – 2 nos. (chopped)
  • Chilli – 2-3 nos.
  • Dill leaves / Sabakki soppu – 1 cup (chopped)
  • Coriander leaf – ¼ cup (chopped)
  • Coconut – ½ cup (grated)
  • Jeera – 1 tbsp

    Cooking Time: 15 minutes

    Preparation Method:

  • Wash the sabakki soppu and coriander leaf with water 2-3 times.
  • Take a bowl add the ragi flour, fine chopped (onion, chilli, sabakki soppu, coriander leaf), grated coconut, jeera and salt to taste.
  • Mix it well and add enough of water till the dough is completely immersed.
  • Make the dough into ball and pat it on a plastic paper or cloth using oil/water.
  • Now heat the tava, put the patted dough on tava with 2 tbsp of oil on both the side. Fry until it is done.
    Now serve hot, using ghee with pickle or any side dish which u like to eat.
