Recipe Brief Description : Rajasthani lapsi are traditionally prepared with jaggery and with ghee along with nuts and raisins. This is a sweet traditionally served during Dushehra.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Wheat rava - 1 cup
  • Ghee - 3/4 cup
  • Jaggery - 3/4 cup (grated)
  • Water - 3 cup
  • Almonds - 1/4 cup
  • Raisins - 2 tbsp

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Heat the ghee in a pan add wheat rava to the ghee and roast it until a nice aroma comes out.
  • Add water, jaggery to the roasted broken wheat and cook in low simmer, until the broken wheat gets well cooked.
  • Now, add the almonds and raisins, cook for few more minutes.
  • Now, its ready to serve. Serve warm topped with nuts.
