Recipe Brief Description : Rajasthani lapsi are traditionally prepared with jaggery and with ghee along with nuts and raisins. This is a sweet traditionally served during Dushehra.
Wheat rava - 1 cup
Ghee - 3/4 cup
Jaggery - 3/4 cup (grated)
Water - 3 cup
Almonds - 1/4 cup
Raisins - 2 tbsp
Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Heat the ghee in a pan add wheat rava to the ghee and roast it until a nice aroma comes out.
Add water, jaggery to the roasted broken wheat and cook in low simmer, until the broken wheat gets well cooked.
Now, add the almonds and raisins, cook for few more minutes.
Now, its ready to serve. Serve warm topped with nuts.
