Rava Dosa

Recipe Brief Description : Dosa cooked with sooji/rava/semolina with maida, onion, green chilli and rice flour.

Recipe Ingredients

  • Chopped Ginger – 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • Green Chillies - 3-4 number (chopped)
  • Onion – 1 number (chopped)
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Ghee, Butter or Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Maida - 1/4 cup
  • Rice Flour - 1 cup
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sooji, Rava or Semolina - 1 cup
  • Butter milk – 2 cup

    Cooking Time: 20 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Mix in the above ingredients add butter milk and make thin batter.
  • Ferment for 1 hour.
  • Pour batter on tawa rubbed with oil.
  • Fry, pouring ghee or oil around dosa, till it turn brown colour. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
