Recipe Brief Description : sabudana thalipeeth its a crisp and soft vada made with sabudana, mashed potatoes, ground peanuts and spices.
Sabudana – 2/3 cup
Potato – 2 number (boiled, peeled and mashed)
Cumin powder – 1/2 tbsp
Peanuts – 4 tbsp (roasted and coarsely ground)
Ginger – 1 inch (grated)
Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup (chopped)
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Sugar – 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cooking Time: 40 minutes
Rinse the sabudana well till the you get transparent water when rinsing and soak them overnight with enough water.
Next day, drain them well and make sure there is no moisture.
Add the mashed potato and all the ingredients to the soaked sabudana and mix well.
Heat a non stick frying pan and spread 1 or 2 tsp of oil on the pan. Apply some oil on your palms and take some portion from the mixture and flatten it with your palms.
Place the flattened round on the frying pan. Fry till both sides are golden brown and crisp.
