Recipe Brief Description : It’s a traditional recipe of Karnataka made with rice flour dough, pour into the mold and make long vermicelli (Shavige).

Recipe Ingredients

  • Rice flour – 2 cup
  • Ghee - 2 tbsp
  • Water – 3 cup
  • Salt to taste

    Cooking Time: 30 minutes

    Preparation Method:
  • Heat deep pan add water, salt, ghee and 2 tbsp rice flour allow boiling.
  • Now add rice flour with out stirring cook for 20 mins and mix well with out lumps.
  • Now, make a medium size ball and pour into the vermicelli mold and press the mold.
  • Now, Rice flour vermicelli is ready to serve. This you can serve with chutney, coconut milk or any non-vegetarian sambar.
